Who Are We?

Premier Touch Painting was started in 2019 by Jamie Solomon and Michael Avery, two business partners. Jamie had a sales background and plenty of experience working with people, and I was coming off my first job out of college. I worked in a boiler room—a financial services recruiting firm that hired and moved some of the biggest players on Wall Street. My old boss made our mission clear: make as much money as possible.

When I left my position as a headhunter to join forces with Jamie and co-lead Premier Touch Painting, it was a breath of fresh air. Instead of smashing the phones with upwards of 200 calls a day, I was getting to meet our clients in person. Instead of shipping off candidates into jobs they may or may not have wanted, I delivered real service and beautiful paint jobs to customers who wanted them.

When we started the business, we knew that the best way to set ourselves apart would be to commit to a high level of service. The contracting industry was, and still is, plagued by a lack of professionalism. No-shows, shady practices, cheap materials—we’ve heard it all. We didn’t want to be a fly-by-night company. We wanted to build a real reputation.

I have continued this mission, buying out my business partner Jamie along the way to take full ownership of the company. I owe so much of our success to him, and those early years we spent trying to figure things out. Leading Premier Touch has gone from being that new gig out of college for me to being my entire life. We’ve helped hundreds of clients in that time, and we’re just getting started.

Premier Touch Painting lives by a set of 7 Core Values. These principles drive every decision we make, guiding us along the path to best serve our clients and our community.

Above all, we remain loyal to the mission of serving our customers. This loyalty is exhibited through our commitment to finding the best solutions possible to their problems and delivering the best experience we can while we’re at it.

Our solutions are sincere. We intend to exceed our customers’ expectations while remaining fully transparent during the process. This transparency is as important within the company as it is in our clients’ homes.

3.  Discipline

We train ourselves in habits of order and precision. Attention to detail matters as much to our painters as to our estimators. We pride ourselves on following the correct process every time.

4.  Be Selfless

Always give more than you take. To follow the company’s mission, we must put the needs of others above our own.

5.  Always Be Learning

We listen to our clients to truly hear their concerns. We must approach every project as an opportunity to deepen our technical knowledge and every interaction to broaden our understanding of how we can best serve our customers.

6.  Do The Right Thing

Doing the right thing means doing what is best for the common good with gratitude. If it is within our capacity to help, we must do so.

7.  Accept Responsibility

We must hold ourselves accountable for our actions and give ourselves the permission to deliver informed solutions.
